    ok, please bear with me.

I am new to android, coming from IOS, i will say i love the freedom of droid....but now comes the confusion....I understand that rooting and jailbreaking are basically the same thing, hat allows for more control, over your device. Now that we have a someone from that is helping with developement ect., does that men we have a possibilty of getting a custom 3.1 or 3.2 rom? what at this point would be a benefit of rooting the tab? once the process is complete or near completion, please put up a video for us newbs.

There are many benefits of rooting. There are a lot of apps in the market that require root and it will also allow you to install custom firmware in the future. All of the custom software will be able to be created once all the bugs are worked out of our custom recovery for the G-Slate. If you are looking for more info check out rootzwiki.com.
