I need one of these desperately. My darn G-Slate gets smudged up every 5 minutes.

The anti-smear one is great...just make sure you don't get any hair or dirt on the underside of it...or else you'll never get it off. Got air bubbles everywhere now Sad

I'm like an artist when it comes to putting on screen protectors lol. It came from me messing up so many times though!

Yeah, I got dust on the tacky side when trying to apply it as well. Will order a couple more and try again, since they're pretty cheap. I love the matte finish of it though.

For applying them, what I do is go into my bathroom, turn the hot water up all the way to build the humidity up, and then get to work. The humidity weighs down the dust particles that are floating through the air and the addition of a little moisture helps with application of the protector.

Definitely going to have to try that.

That is a great idea about the steam. I am waiting for http://www.bestskinsever.com/ to come out with one. I have used the skins they make several times and if you apply them correctly the are clear and bubble free. ALso I am not a fan of the anti smear ones because they tend to dull the screen.

Got my 2nd screen protector in today. Used the Mi|enko-method to apply it. Worked perfectly. Only problem is, unlike the first one I bought, it is not anti-smear. So, just fyi, if you're looking for a screen protector - the first one I linked to in the o.p. IS anti-smear, whereas the second (cheaper) one is NOT.

I have put screen protectors on every device that I buy (always anti-smudge) and I have it down to a science too - this can also help if you applied the thing a while back. Use masking (regular like for taping wrapping paper) tape and roll it so that it is sticky against your finger and you can touch something and it will stick to that too. Take another piece of tape and set it across a corner. Gently life the corner by the tape and, using your other hand, use the tape to remove any dust that is hanging out in between the glass and the cover. Use the tape twice (once on the screen and once on the cover) and then gently lay the screen cover back down. Make sure the dust is gone and then repeat. The only time I have ever had any issues with this is on a crimped screen protector, but the company that I had purchased it from did an even exchange so that it went away.
