3D Photographs

I asked this on the T-Mobile forums but did not receive an answer... is there any way to take a 3D photograph? Obviously 3D video is easily done and regular stills are easy to manage, but is there a way to do 3D stills other than have someone stand still for a few seconds and record a video?

I actually haven't noticed an option for this either. It would be really cool if a dev modded the camera APK to do it. That is if it can't be done already. Have you checked the Market for an app that takes anaglyph stills?

It seems like a 3D stereoscopic photography app for all these Android devices is a no brainer but there may not be enough device support for a developer to make the leap that such a App will sell.

How much would you pay for a 3D Stereoscopic Android App?

i was watching a few videos on YouTube, and he basically made the images fairly quickly and worked really well in my opinion. I was wondering if ppl were able to download a movie that was in 3D and play it back on their device. i downloaded Despicable Me it was in the Stereoscopic view, i put it on my GSlate, but it was not able to play. it was an MKV file, it worked w/AVI player on my computer, but not with mVideoPlayer or the 3D player on the GS... just wondering if ppl were able to download the movies and get them to play

If someone had the LG Optimus 3D - and could pull the APK -- I wonder if this would work? There is a 3D camera on that phone.
