Just bought this last night and its incredible. It it one of the best fully functioning remote desktop clients I have used to date. You can control your PC as well as play many 3D games and it looks beautiful. It was definetely worth the 5 dollars I paid for it. It is also optimized for Honeycomb and more specifically the G-Slate. I recommend this to anyone, especially those who want to play real PC games on their tablet! I forgot to mention the flawless Netflix streaming. Enjoy!

I just found another great use for this. I can now flawlessly remotely control my torrents and and watch the movies directly on my tablet. Another great thing is being able to browse and run any movie or application on my wireless harddrive. I'm actually typing all this remotely which is another great thing. Spend the money and get this amazing app.

I am an old school PocketCloud user (mainly because of iOS devices), but I do the latter - never tried to stream movies / etc to my tablet remotely.

Do you use it that way? I would be afraid to bug someone at home by streaming audio back.

Yes I use it to stream movies. The great thing is if you set the volume settings correctly the volume will only be heard from the tablet and not the computer. When you set up the app it tells you how to do so!

Gotta say, for the price it's a must have. Especially with the potential of how amazing it can be with updates and later versions.

Port forwarding my router was a bitch and a half but it only took an hour and most f the annoyance came from my ISP not wanting to give me the password to my router's web interface. Finally got it, put in the portfowarding and now I can access my PC from anywhere over 4G. cheers ...

Funny note, I downloaded the splashtop desktop program on my brothers laptop and when he sat down with it in the other room I opened Notepad on him and "Hello, thank you for all your credit card info. You just got hacked!" and hit Shut Down, on him. He freqked out for a good fifteen minutes.. jocolor

Yes, it is possible to access through 4g. You need to sync it with your google account and your done. Check the settings in the app.

i know its been a while since the last post, but i recently just posted this again in the app section, letting ppl know its free on the amazon app store, i was just wondering if you guys were having issues typing out a word document. after every letter i had to hit the space bar to see the letters pop up. idk if its my keyboard app (swiftkey) or the app itself.
