I'm not sure if the source we have will show button mappings to add a recovery option, but I would surmise this would be at the sbl level and not kernel. So we probably have a defunct bootloader causing a lot of heartache right now. :-( LG needs to release 3.2 and the new bootloader that is not broken.

You read here more about it, but not being able to do it, is a bootloader issue. Sad

hi everyone i have a major issue with my rooted gslate.if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. i downloaded cw from the market and when it askes you for compatibility i accedently chose the option (lg optimus 3d) thinking it was for my gslate and now after i turned off the gslate and go to turn it back on its stuck on LG blackscreen and says
    [HasValidKernelImage] Magic value mismatch:
    [DetectOperatingSystems]kernel image is invalid !!!
    Starting Fastboot USB download protocol

After, I did with Ubuntu to wipe paritions with nvflash (N = partition #, use table above to prefix):
    Code:
    ./nvflash --bl bootloader.bin --getpartitiontable ptable.txt
    ./nvflash -r --format_partition N: (I'd this from 1 to 8(eight) :-( )

    Code:
    0 /tmp ramdisk (null) (null) 0
    1 /system ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (null) 0
    2 /cache ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 (null) 0
    3 /misc emmc /dev/block/mmcblk0p3 (null) 0
    4 /data ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p4 (null) 0
    5 /recovery emmc /dev/block/mmcblk0p5 (null) 0
    6 /boot emmc /dev/block/mmcblk0p6 (null) 0
    7 /radio emmc /dev/block/mmcblk0p9 (null) 0
    8 /oemboot emmc /dev/block/mmcblk0p10 (null) 0

= My pad can't turn on, just connect to computer with APX mode
Ive looked all over the internet and cant find anything to help me out so please can someone help me.
maybe a way to nvflash all partitions back.

First off, why would you erase 1-8? The only partition that we know of working with this bootloader.bin, is /system [8]. You have probably completely rendered your pad useless. I'd suggest you join our IRC channel for help...

ClockworkMOD Recovery is now working properly thanks to Dasunsrule32 from G-Slate IRC.

SDCard mounting issues fixed along with backup/restore features!

You use this at your own risk, don't come whining to me or anyone else if you bork your tablet. This is designed for experienced users.

    Clockworkmod 5.0.2.7

Thanks to pershoot for the assistance...

Thanks to beefsalad and Deez1234 for testing.

    Known issues:
You can only fastboot it at this point to access it (G-Slate hardware design problem.)
Rom Manager doesn't work, (reboot recovery, backup, etc.)
Reboot Recovery option (Related to problem 2)

    Boot CWR by doing
    Code:
    fastboot boot recovery.img

    Mirror1

    Mirror2

my G-Slate has been locked by either TMo or by my carelessness. Can i use CMR to factory restore? I really dont want to send my GSlate back to LG for a factory reset, their Tech Support has been horrible
