New G-Slate Folio Case

Looks really good and the back is a hard cover it fits in. It's alot thinner than the standard folio case.

Interesting, I got the Incipio one and am very happy with it, but I could see folks wanting a thinner case. Thanks for sharing!

I wonder if either would work with my G-slate, as I have a black silicon sleeve on it. My GizmoDorks case, which is pretty much a universal case meant to fit the Xoom, barely allows me to fit my G-Slate in it with the sleeve on.

I just ordered one from T-Mo, so we'll see what it looks like when it comes in.

The Incipio leather kickstand folio thing I have it in now is a nice enough case, but it's thicker than the tablet itself with three layers of leather+liner+backboard and a fourth of kickstand support rubber. They also start to show wear disturbingly quickly if you use them hand-held with the screen cover flipped over backward. The LG one looks to be a similar design, but without a couple of the idiosyncrasies and possibly a bit thinner. We'll see!

Ooh. Also relevant, and a neat solution to there being no promo shots from any more than one angle (argh!): there are some good shots in this recent thread over on lgforum.com.

I have both cases and I really like the thinner one better.....no hard rubber inside of it either....
